It was snowing a little in Valley Forge.  Not much else happening when all of a sudden there were hundreds and hundreds of starlings who graciously posed for my camera.  Click photo to really see all those starlings.

This little guy raced across the leafy lawn at Valley Forge yesterday, then raced up a tall lone tree and jumped in a heart shaped hole and came out to say hello:

Back to Kenya

I had the greatest pleasure to go back to Kenya for 15 days in late September and early October.  It was an incredible experience once again.  Led by the great photographers Denise Ippolito and Paul Mckenzie, we all learned so much about light, patience and going with the flow.  For the first time I had the chance to stay in a hide in the ground all night with the wildlife coming right up to us and drinking from a watering hole.  Also had the chance to fly over the salt lakes of Kenya in a tiny helicopter without doors and photographed the gorgeous landscapes and thousands and thousands of flamingos.  Here are a few of the many scenes that crossed my lens.

You Talkin to me???

We had a downpour of a rainfall this morning and this little beauty was preening himself to try and dry off.  Gave me quite the stare.
 

We are back in Gloucester!!

 Tom and I made the seven hour drive to Massachusetts a few days ago.  We are in the same old wonderful creaky house where we stayed last year.  The seagulls and waves and sunrises are right outside our front door.
