Bike Riding

I got up early this morning to take some pictures in a little town called Manayunk (See www.kittykono.com for my best shot of the day - go ahead, don't be shy.) When I got home about 10:00, Ken suggested we go for a bike ride!! This is great news because Ken has not been on a bike for over a year. We got the bike out of the garage, filled the tires with air and off we went for a good ride around the neighborhood. Oh it was so, so good. Here's a picture of Ken on that great three wheeler for your viewing pleasure.

Ken and the Girls

Yesterday our friends Terry and her daughter Brooke came and cleaned our house from top to bottom. They love Ken and he is pretty crazy about them as well.

A New Camera!!

It's been a while since the last blog. All is pretty good here on the home front. Ken is doing well. Yumiko is too - lots of ballet. And I broke down and got a NEW super duper camera this weekend - a Nikon D700. It is a beautiful machine. I have not quite figured it out, but today when I dropped Yumiko off at her ballet class, I asked her teacher if I could take some photos of the kids in her class. Here is a portrait of one of her friends taken with the new camera. Just love it.

High School Reunion

This past Saturday was my sister Julie's 40th high school reunion in Quakertown, PA. Julie flew in from Denver for the occasion. At the same time, my friends from high school - Cathy, Janice and Riki and I got together for our own little reunion. I left Ken and Yumiko in St. Davids and ventured up the road about 20 miles to Quakertown for an overnight party.

WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!! It is amazing how 39 years has passed by in a blink. It was as if we were right back in high school mode. I have not laughed so much in a long, long time. Here are a few pictures from our weekend.
