Summer Interior - Edward Hopper
I'm taking a new photography class in which we are to choose a painting by a specific artist and recreate that painting into a photograph. I chose "Summer Interior II" by Edward Hopper. Here is Yumiko posing as the woman in the painting. If you want to see the original photograph - google "Summer Interior" and click images. What do you think?

Fox at Island Beach State Park
I traveled to Island Beach State Park yesterday and joined wildlife photographer Denise Ippolito and a few others. She scouted out a beautiful lone fox for us. Here are a few photos from our adventure.

Click Heron for "Deja Vu"
Ken told me today these heron and fish pictures are getting a little too "Deja Vu" for him. I told him that until the Spring comes and all the birds come back he will just have to bear with what's out there unless a tiger or elephant crosses my path.

Heron Figure Skating
The pond at John Heinz was frozen over today. This beautiful young Blue Heron had a tough time finding breakfast, but still took time to stretch his wings. Click to see the beautiful blue in his wings.

New Year's Eve With Wonderful Friends
We had a little New Year's Eve party Saturday night. It was a wonderful time with lots of great food and good, good friends. Everybody humored me by sitting in our old basement and having their picture taken. From top to bottom - our wonderful neighbors Sharon and Pepe and new little Toto; The famous "Lizbeth Lane" Dernoga's - Kathy, Melanie, Brandon and Michael; Beautiful Sun Mi and Randy Franklin; the glamour girls: Laura, Yumiko Kono and Melanie Dernoga; the break dancer - Brandon Denoga; sweet old wonderful Barb and Paul; and finally Ken and me.
