Here's Who Showed Up in Valley Forge Today

Brand, Spankin New Baby Fawn

I came across this little just born baby fawn this morning.  Still wet behind his ears.  His mom had just lept away, leaving him behind.  I went up to him and talked to him and pet his nose and he slowly and very awkwardly got up and followed me.  I had to pick him up and put him back in the grass where he was.  So hope the mom comes back.  I took the first picture with my cell phone and second with my big lens.  Way too close!!
