Headless Wonder

I've been taking an eight week portfolio class concentrating on insect photography. It has been wonderful finding all kinds of new bugs every day. This morning while combing the fields of Valley Forge I came across a tiny little bug that had no head. It was minute, so I wasn't sure if it was dead or not. I took a lot of pictures, but for the life of me, I could see no eyes. Finally, I just thought it was a dead bug with a body and legs still standing. I touched it with my finger and low and behold, she flew away. Now, when looking at her picture on the big screen, I can see her head at the other end. Click on this headless wonder, and you too will see her head and eye a little out of focus at the bottom of the body. Oh the wonders of nature.
