We celebrated the New Year today as we have every New Year's Day since I met Ken 19 years ago. Ken makes a wonderful Japanese soup called Zoni - broth with mochi (rice cake), mushrooms and green onion. This year we celebrated with our good friends Hans and Margaret and daughter Michelle Van Naerssen and Ken's Chinese language teacher - Shumei Hsu and her daughters Weiwei and Tsumi and husband Zhi. Good time had by all.
