Had lots of fun yesterday at Conowingo Dam in Maryland trying to get good pictures of all the eagles, but they were way too far away.  If only I had been on a little boat on the Susquehanna and could have rowed over closer to them, just think how good this picture could have been. The government shutdown has forced me to go to Eastern College Pond each day for my photo fix rather than going to Valley Forge National Park or John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge.  However, the pond has been a treasure trove every day.  Today I talked to this little Kingfisher as he posed in the rain.
