I have to tell you, the new Sony A1 with the 200 - 600mm lens is truly unbelievable. I can hand-hold the camera all day and get just as much reach as the big 600. And, it shoots 30 frames per second and catches focus on the eye of the bird!! It's like cheating, but SO MUCH FUN.
